We will position the YMCA as a community service organization that meets community needs and is open to people of all ages, all abilities, and all incomes; that meets the health and social service needs of the family; and that emphasizes the development of values - the encouragement of moral and ethical behavior based on Christian principle.

• YMCA Gift Certificates - Give the gift that keeps on giving throughout the year. The Uniontown YMCA offers gift certificates for memberships and all programs. These certificates are available through the front desk and can be purchased during normal business hours.
• Holiday Day Camp - Come spend the holidays with us at the YMCA!! Children ages 4 - 12 are invited to join us in a safe and familiar environment, during the Christmas holiday. Reunite with friends and counselors from the summer and take part in the same fun-filled activities, including swimming daily!! Camp will be held from December 26 - 29. Our camp is CCIS funded for those of you that qualify. For more information call the YMCA.
• Holiday Splash/Movie Party - Hey Mom and Dad, do you need some more time to get your holiday gifts bought and wrapped? Bring the kids in for a swim and movie while you get your Christmas wrapped up. The YMCA will be holding a Splash/Movie Party on December 22, 2006, from 5:00 - 9:00PM. Refreshments will be served and registration is required. The fee for this evening of fun is $5.00 for YMCA members and $10.00 for non-members.
• Learn to Swim Week - This week long class teaches children not only how to swim, but basic swimmer safety skills. Evening time slots will be available. To get more information about this Learn-to-Swim week, contact Betty Zajac, Aquatic Director, at the Uniontown YMCA.
• Instructional Basketball - Next session starts January 8, 2007.
• Instructional Gymnastics - Next session starts January 8, 2007. - Registration begins immediately. Register early, as spaces are limited!
• "Y" Kids Learning Center - "Happy Holidays from the "Y" Kids Learning Center" - At this festive time of the year the "Y" Kids will be working within the community doing shoeboxes for the residents at the Cherry Tree Nursing Home, displaying our "Y" Kids snowflakes throughout downtown Uniontown and working on our annual Christmas pageant. - An open registration will be held on January 5, 2007, at 2:00 PM. If anyone is interested in registering for daycare or pre-school, please contact Ms. Chris, Director of Childcare Services.
