Did you know that the Uniontown Area YMCA offers many evidence-based programs to help people prevent themselves from suffering from a devastating fall?

National Falls Prevention Awareness Day is September 23: Falls Prevention Awareness Day is a day of action that encourages the public to learn their risk and access programs that can help reduce the risk for falls.

Our programs for falls prevention include: Enhance Fitness, Moving for Better Balance, and Tai Chi for Arthritis and Falls Prevention. They all teach balance, strength, and awareness.

To learn more, go to our website www.uniontownymca.org and click on individual programs under the "Healthy Living" tab to read about these awesome prevention programs. Call us to sign up to participate!
