Pickleball
Pickleball is played three days a week in our gymnasium (during winter months) and outside (during summer months) on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. This game uses a net, paddles, and a small ball to play a hybrid type of game resembling tennis in which players use paddles to hit a perforated plastic ball over a net. Pickleball is a great social opportunity and a fun challenge for seniors, but all ages are welcome.
Racquetball
Racquetball is free for members 14 and up. Younger members can play supervised by a parent or guardian. Courts can be reserved 24 hours in advance for a small fee. Racquets and balls are available for use, along with eye protection. Eye protection is required for those playing racquetball at the Uniontown Area YMCA.
Tennis
Our YMCA has two outdoor tennis courts. Bring your racquet and a friend for a great workout in the fresh air. All YMCA memberships include the use of our tennis courts. Tennis is a great way to get outside, get together, with friends and get your heart pumping. Courts are available to members. The overall size of a tennis court is 36 feet wide by 78 feet long.
