Join the UNTY Competitive Swim Team — where young athletes develop strength, skill, and sportsmanship in a supportive and challenging environment. Our team is open to swimmers of various skill levels who are ready to take their swimming to the next level through structured training, goal setting, and regular competition.

Led by experienced and certified coaches, the team focuses on improving stroke technique, endurance, and race strategy while promoting values like discipline, teamwork, and personal growth. Swimmers have opportunities to compete in local, regional, and even national meets as they build confidence and lifelong friendships.

Whether you’re striving for personal bests or aiming for the podium, the UNTY Swim Team is the perfect place to grow — in and out of the pool.

Requirements: Swimmers must be able to complete a minimum swim assessment. Placement on the team is based on age and skill level.

Age Groups: Up to 18 years old.

Seasons: Year-round training with seasonal competitions.

Our winter competitive season begins on Monday, October 6th and runs through mid/late March depending on the meet schedule. Practices are held Monday-Friday from 6 to 7 pm for swimmers ages 8 and under, and 6 to 8 pm for swimmers ages 9 and older. All swim team members must be YMCA members in order to participate. We encourage families to support the YMCA by joining on a household membership, however individial memebrships are also available.

2025-2026 Winter Dues (*not prorated): Paid in full at time of registration, or monthly payments are permitted.

8U – $360

9+ – $420 (Multi-child discount of $25 per additional child)

*High School Swimmer – $300

*In order to register as a High School Swimmer, swimmer must be on their sancationed high school swim team.
